About the Role

You will build and maintain modern web applications and APIs using C#/.NET, working with SQL databases and deploying to cloud platforms. This is an entry-level role for engineers who are eager to learn, write clean code, and ship value in an agile environment.

Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

Develop features and APIs in C#/.NET (ASP.NET Core, Web API) with unit and integration tests
Design and query relational databases including schema changes, stored procedures, and query optimization
Deploy and operate cloud-hosted services such as Azure App Service, Functions, storage, secrets, and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives
Contribute to code reviews and follow secure coding practices including OWASP guidelines
Troubleshoot and fix defects, add logging and metrics, and maintain documentation and playbooks
Work with front-end basics such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate UI with backend APIs

Must-Have Qualifications

Strong knowledge of C# and .NET including ASP.NET Core, Web API, MVC, async programming, and OOP concepts
Hands-on experience with SQL including queries, joins, indexing, normalization, and performance basics
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP with understanding of hosting and CI/CD concepts
Experience writing unit tests using MSTest, xUnit, or NUnit and using mocking frameworks like Moq
Awareness of OWASP Top 10, authentication, authorization, and monitoring practices
Familiarity with Git, agile methodologies, and collaborative development

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Entity Framework Core and database migrations
Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON serialization, and Swagger documentation
Basic exposure to React or Angular
Knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions pipelines and infrastructure as code
Understanding of Docker, microservices, caching, and performance tuning
