Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Engineer, you will:
Perform data loads and transformations on large data sets.
Parse, format, and transform data for analytics purposes.
Implement logical and physical data models following MDM best practices.
Integrate multiple data source formats into master data loads.
Use at least one ETL tool proficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including statisticians, developers, product managers, and engineers.
Translate analytics problems into data requirements.
Communicate effectively—both written and verbal—with internal teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Scripting experience (e.g., Pig, Python, Perl).
Knowledge of data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, and data profiling.
Familiarity with big data storage architecture.
Ability to ask the right questions and make connections between ideas.
Passion for learning and curiosity to explore new technologies.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms and data tools.
Knowledge of master data management (MDM).
Ability to understand the latest tech trends and propose innovative solutions.
