This position would require strong technical and programming skills.

Design, document, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure
Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and integrate test and deployment automation into development pipelines, specifically Azure.
Interface with external vendors on tooling and services necessary for framework solutions.
Advise automation engineers on innovative automation solutions
Evaluate and report on monetary return on automation investments
Design and implement reporting capabilities that expose test coverage, execution frequency, and outcomes metrics
Work directly with product team engineers to implement automation solutions across the full testing lifecycle including functional, integration, regression, and non-functional requirements
Create and manage detailed automation architecture and process documentation
Collaborate with peers to define and implement automation best practices across the organization
Take initiative for software quality process efficiency and improvements

Experience Required

Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages:
JavaScript/typescript, C#, SQL, PYTHON
Proficiency in the following testing tools/ Frameworks:
Webdriver IO, Selenium, Cucumber, Nunit / Junit, GIT
Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to deploy and execute test automation
Experience with version control
Familiarity with Postman, mobile test automation frameworks.
Familiarity with ROBOT Framework
Familiarity with other functional automation tools like Tosca, UI Path

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or similar degree is required
Experienced in Automation framework, Automation Scripting and Manual Test management
Experience on either Jasmine or TestNG frameworks is mandatory
Experience with database, integration, compatibility, UI usability, installation or security testing
Experience with VSTS will be an added advantage
Experience with Agile development
Designs and reviews, deploys and maintains new test packages (test case and test script design, development and maintenance, test execution plans and test data development)
Tests all level complexity system applications and verifies all output
Reports any applications defects or non-compliance with business/functional requirements;
Reviews and interprets all documentation including business requirements, functional and design specification, etc.
Ensuring conformance and application of test process management tools process and guidelines.
Actively participates in process improvement initiatives by providing feedback on deployed process, helping with the piloting of software quality control methodologies
Creates supporting documentation and administrative reports (Defects/Execution report and Timesheets)
